I'm Back!

I’m home now and still a bit jet lag but rarin’ to go!  There’s still a little summer left to gather some back to school ideas and still have some down time to relax the mind and body!

Tired of hearing about Vegas? Well you won't when you read this! Also, there’s so much I want to share with those that couldn’t be there! I want to share one of my favorite things I learned about in Deanna Jump’s presentation on Guided Reading. Are you ready?  It’s the latest version of the Whisper Phone!!!! This new version is awesome for guided reading groups. A teacher is able to monitor individual readers as well as group monitoring.  Check it out for more details as best described by WhisperPhones!

And guess what?  I've decided to give one away!  You can increase your chances by:

    1. It was my pleasure! I would love to do monthly giveaways but really haven't a clue about what kind of things! All that comes to my mind are general things that stateside people can't get a hold of easily like Polish pottery, Italian mask, Belgium chocolate....LOL!

  9. Hi Lcie, I just found your blog through another blog. Where in Germany do you teach. I attended DoD schools in Germany until I started high school, and I must say that I have very fond memories of those schools. At one point in my career I really wanted to teach overseas (In fact I would still love to), but family and our farm keep me rooted here. Love the blog, I'm your newest follower!!

    1. Hi Karen! I live in a tiny village (remember the size of the towns?) about 1 and 1/2 hrs away from Ramstein but the nearest city I woud have to say is Luxembourg City, Lux. I have truly enjoyed my experiences here, but I know what you mean about family ties!

  12. Actually I thought the same to but it hasn't been too bad. The start up is the most work but if you do it over the summer then the rest is easy. If I can be of any help I would be glad to try to answer your questions! :)
