Another Year?!

Another year already? That means another 100 days of school!  I know many of you have already celebrated it and some of you are celebrating this week – LIKE US!  I wasn't going to blog about it – but when you see the fun – how can you not!  We had so much we wanted to do that we decided to celebrate the entire week with lots and lots of activities!  Check some of them out!

Our 100th Day of Kindergarten:

We started off the day with a breakfast of 100 pieces of cereal or 200 or 300 depending on the size of our appetites!

We wrote our numbers to 100 and turned them into crowns!

We worked with estimation bags and gave them our best guess!

We read and recorded our numbers using candy kisses!

We recorded our first 100 days of school and created a book!

We made 100 year- old portraits!

We made Tally Ties!

We shared our collections of 100!

We earned our watches and rings after counting
by 1’s, 5’s, and 10’s to 100!

We created STEM projects using 100 pieces.

We tallied how many licks it takes to get to the
 chocolate part of a lollipop!

We ate a 100 piece snack!

At the end of the day, we felt we had aged but went home 100 days wiser and smarter!

Travel Destination: France!

Hearts and sentiments of love are posted on bulletin boards and doorways throughout our school for the month of February. These thoughts of love brought to mind a favorite place to travel any month of the year, the City of Love.

The City of Love, as many of you may know, is Paris, France. Paris offers a multitude of tastes, sights and sounds for lovers and non-lovers alike. The Eiffel Tower being one of the most recognized sights.

Don’t just stop in Paris though, France has many other delightful cities and villages that offer unique experiences through the architecture, art, coastal roads, cafes, and of course the wine!
