The Beginning of the End of an Era!

My, my where did the time go? It seems like it was just yesterday my family and I were getting on a jet plane to take us to Europe for a two year teaching commitment. I guess it is true that time does fly when you are “beezy” living life! Our 27 plus years have been filled with fun, work, and travel. I‘ve been very fortunate that my job has given me the opportunity to work with such brave and beautiful children, travel the world, and experience many cultures. After 10 years in Texas and 27 years in Germany - a total of almost 40 fantastic, challenging years – I have decided to RETIRE at the end of this year.

Although my enthusiasm, dedication, and passion for teaching has not diminished, I am ready to try different things. I have a lot to be thankful for and will leave at the end of this school year with cherished memories and experiences from my time living and working overseas. This last year will be filled with mixed emotions, but I am looking forward to what this year will bring and wish all of you a great 2016-2017 school year!
